3 Ways Lightworkers Can Protect Their Energy

I am blessed to be surrounded by light workers, empaths, and highly sensitive people.  They are the most caring, kind, and compassionate people.  You will find us in all sorts of healthcare positions, such as your physiotherapist, chiropractor, or budtender.  A common theme among us all is that we tend to take on others energy, leaving them feeling lighter and more elevated.  However, we are left drained and depleted.  MaryAnn DiMarco really took it home for me in her book Medium Mentor when she said this has more to do with a lack of boundaries.  Knowing and protecting your boundaries is essential when learning to work with spirit and in life in general.  Keep reading to learn 3 things you can do to protect your energy.

3 Ways to Protect Your Energy

1)  Smudge
Every single evening, after facing the world all day, I smudge or cleanse my energetic body.  During intense energy transitions, I do it all.  I burn either white sage, palo santo, or incense.  If you don't like smudging, you can diffuse a blend of white sage, palo santo and rosemary essential oils.

2)  Meditate
Sit in stillness while focusing on your breath for at least 5 minutes each day.  Take the time to connect with your angels and guides as they will support you through the times ahead.  I really love this Magnetic Protection Activation by Sandra Rolus.  Even if you think you can't meditate, do it anyways.  This is one of the most important tools I use to stay grounded.

3)  Practice Grounding or Earthing
Take 5 minutes each day and get out in nature.  If you have the opportunity, find a spot where you can take your shoes off and place your bare feet on the earth.  Watch The Earthing movie if you want to learn more about the various benefits of this practice.

These practices are simple, but they will leave you feeling refreshed, grounded, and tuned to the frequency of the divine.  With so much in this 3D reality trying to pull us into negative thought patterns, it is extra important to implement these tools to navigate stressful times with grace.

Sending love and light your way. 🙏🏼
