Setting Up & Activating a Crystal Grid

A crystal grid is very powerful.  It combines the energy of crystals with sacred geometry.  By placing crystals in a geometric arrangement, their energy is greatly elevated, amplifying your intention.  

SETTING UP YOUR CRYSTAL GRID

While setting up your crystal grid, you first want to create an affirmation or intention which will be the focus of your grid.  The piece you select for this should embody the characteristics that most resonate with your intention.  Place your other selected stones on the corresponding circles, shapes, or lines.  Be sure to centre these.  Proper alignment of these stones is vital to the flow of energy.  State the purpose of each stone, what energy do they bring to your grid, how do they support your intended manifestation.  

To activate and combine energies of your crystal grid, you need to outline the connecting points between each individual crystal.  You may use a wand (clear quartz or selenite), your hand or even a smudge stick to do this.  It will help if you visualize connecting energy lines between each object on your grid.  I like to visualize each of these connections as lines of white light, linking each individual crystal into one cohesive unit.  

First, create an affirmation or intention which will be the focus of your crystal grid. Then, choose the crystals you wish to use on the grid and make sure they are cleansed.  

Make sure to choose a crystal that will be the main stone for the centre of your crystal grid.  The piece you select for this should embody the characteristics that out resonate with your intention.  When you place this stone on your grid, chant your affirmation out loud or silently to yourself, and focus on the positive energy.  You may also write your intention on a piece of paper and place it under this stone.  

Then, place the remaining crystals around the anchor stone, on the corresponding circles, shapes, or lines.  Make sure to centre these.  Proper alignment of these stones is vital to the flow of energy.  As you place the stones on the grid, state the purpose of each and how they support your intended manifestation.  

ACTIVATING YOUR CRYSTAL GRID 

From the centre, draw a line to a stone on the outside of the grid.  Continue to draw in a circular manner along the outer crystals, and from each crystal inward to the centre piece.  Continue this motion until you have joined all stones, arriving back in the centre of the grid.  Then pause over the main crystal for a last time to reaffirm your intention.  The energy will flow back and forth between the crystals using the centre piece as a focal point.  

You will want to reactivate your crystal grid if disturbed or if the crystals have moved out of alignment.
