What to do if you've consumed too much cannabis.
If you consume cannabis long enough, it is inevitable that at some point, you will have too much. People run into the most trouble with edibles and ingestion is the most likely way for someone to "green out."
What is greening out?
This occurs when a person has consumed too much cannabis and feels ill. Common symptoms include sweating, feeling dizzy, a pale colour and vomiting. Some may even experience a panic attack. This is not a pleasant experience and is the main reason a person will never touch cannabis again. 👎🏽
If this happens to you, I want you to remember that high dosages of cannabis does not cause brain damage.

What to do if you've consumed too much cannabis?
1) Consume Limonene
*Is the most abundant terpene in nature and is found in some cannabis strains. It gives a cultivar its citrusy smell and taste.
*Limonene tends to produce calming effects that can help counteract the psychoactive effects of THC.
*Also, you could squeeze the juice of half a lemon in water, along with some rind zest, as the most limonene is found in the rind of citrus fruits.
*You could also steep the lemon peel and hot water and drink as a tea.
*If you have a diffuser, diffusing citrus essential oils may help as well.
*Sweet Orange essential oil contains around 90-93% limonene, grapefruit essential oil contains averages around 93%, and lemon essential oil 50%.
*Add a drop or two max of an essential oil high in limonene to your water and drink.
*You could also add a drop or two of an essential oil high in limonene to a capsule and ingest with some water.
*When consuming essential oils internally, less is more as they are highly concentrated making them very potent.
*Ensure to pick a brand that is therapeutic grade and safe to take internally, like Doterra or Revive.
2) Consume Caryophyllene
*The essential oils of many different spices and plants, oregano, thyme, rosemary, cinnamon, curry, and black pepper are high in caryophyllene.
*Caryophyllene reduces the effects of THC and will leave you feeling calmer.

*If you have found yourself too elevated, smoke or ingest some CBD for some relief.
3) Relax
*Find a quiet place to lie down and relax.
*Practice slow, deep breathing and remember that this too shall pass.
*The effects can last anywhere from 4 - 24 hours, depending on how much cannabis you have consumed.
4) Call a Friend
*Call a friend and explain what happened and have them chat with you and ride it out.
*It's always good to here a friendly voice.
5) Call 9-1-1
*If you feel ill and are so uncomfortable you simply can't wait it out, then call
9-1-1.
*Do not drive while high!
